Data Analyst for Cyber Engineering

Urgent requirement for a Data Analyst for Cyber Engineering in Qatar on a 12 month contract for a major IT vendor.

Responsibilities:

• Use data analysis tools and techniques to identify trends and patterns in cyber security data
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support cyber security decision-making
• Conduct data quality assessments to ensure accuracy and completeness of cyber security data
• Collaborate with cyber security engineers to develop and implement data-driven solutions to cyber security challenges
• Use statistical methods to identify anomalies and potential threats in cyber security data
• Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in data analysis and cyber security
• Provide guidance and training to other members of the IT security team on data analysis techniques and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis and visualization, with a focus on cyber security
• Strong understanding of statistical methods and data analysis tools, such as R or Python
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and patterns in complex data sets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Relevant security certifications, such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP, preferred
